such as shop and storage times. Historic reports showing cycle time averages and variability, car dwell by location, and detailed bucket reports are easily constructed,
but the real power comes from moving from a "rear-view mirror" perspective to a forward-looking fleet management philosophy. Alert based monitoring helps to pin-point
potential problems before they reach to crisis status.
